Use
your voice to help get a
Chapel
in the White House
Contact
President Obama and tell him you support putting a Chapel
in the White House. We have Chapels at he United
States House of Representatives, the United States Senate,
at military bases, hospitals, colleges, universities,
and ships at sea. We need a Chapel in the White
House.
There are more than 130 rooms in the White House including
the First Families living quarters, a library, swimming
pool, exercise room, bowling alley, movie theater, medical
facilities, conference rooms, concession stand, the Cabinet
Room, War Room, the State Dinning Room, the East Room,
suites of offices for the President including the famous
Oval Office, and offices for the White House staff.
Missing is a Chapel in the White House.
People who visit the White House are shown the Green Room,
Red Room, Blue Room, and the China Room. But visitors
have not seen a Chapel, because there is no Chapel in
the White House.
The United States Senate and the United States House of
Representatives have Chapels and Chaplains. Chapels can
be found at American military bases all over the world.
Chapels are aboard ocean going ships, at hospitals, colleges,
universities has a Chapel and the
Chapels are aboard ocean going ships, at airports, hospitals,
colleges, universities, and in many public and private
buildings. Chaplains serve in jails and prisons throughout
the country and many state and federal prisons have chapels.
I encourage all people of faith to join in this nationwide,
grass-roots initiative promoting the establishment of
a chapel in the White House.
Write, call or send an e-mail message to President Obama
expressing your support for a Chapel in the White House
and encourage your friends and associates to contact the
President as well.

A
new effort is underway to have the President establish
a Chapel in the White House. With so many employees
and visitors it seemed reasonable that a Chapel should
be available to those who
work
or visit there. Many friends and associates have
joined me in this mission.
If
you are interested, please contact the President.
